A corner-lot multifamily building on Boston’s gateway through Lower Roxbury, Tremont Street. This former commercial site was converted in order to provide the growing South End with much-needed living spaces.
Design and construction for 1065 Tremont required two phases, including an as-of-right zoning development phase and a variance permitted phase. Despite the need to navigate complicated zoning issues, we were motivated to include innovative design; the building features a unique façade comprised of new and strategic materials.
