Located just steps from the Hyde Park Commuter Rail Station, 7 Dana Avenue is a new 4-story residential building that introduces 27 thoughtfully designed units to a transit-friendly, multi-modal neighborhood. The project is positioned to enhance housing availability and neighborhood vitality while supporting the city’s goals for transit-oriented development and smart urban density.

This 13,633 square-foot site will be transformed into a modern multifamily community offering 9 two-bedroom units and 18 one-bedroom units, designed to suit a diverse range of residents. Below-grade parking accommodates 30 stacked spaces (1.1 per unit), and 34 bicycle storage spaces will be provided at ground level, prioritizing alternative transportation and reducing neighborhood parking impact.

The building is massed to respect the surrounding scale and character of the Cleary Square district. With a clean, contemporary aesthetic, it creates an active street presence that supports the existing pedestrian network. While the street is currently residential, the project continues the area’s long-term rezoning vision by bringing density and mixed-use potential to a walkable, well-connected corner of Hyde Park.

Designed to reinforce the rhythm of the neighborhood while contributing to Boston’s housing stock, this project brings a new layer of vitality and sustainability to the evolving Hyde Park landscape.
